The Taisan IR Heating Tunnel for Leveling is a mandatory thermal step in any high-quality finishing line. Working as a highly efficient Flash-off IR Dryer Tunnel, it gently heats the wet coating from the inside out, accelerating solvent and water evaporation while allowing the paint to flow out perfectly.
The TAISAN IR Leveling and Drying Machine is an essential intermediate step in high-quality finishing lines. While hot air dries the surface, Infrared (IR) Heating penetrates deep into the coating layer to heat the substrate and the paint simultaneously.
Why is IR Leveling critical?
Deep Degassing: It forces solvents and air bubbles trapped deep in the paint to rise and escape before the surface hardens.
Perfect Flow: The gentle heat lowers the viscosity of the paint, allowing it to ‘flow out’ and self-level, eliminating roller marks and orange peel. This machine is indispensable for producing High Gloss Mirror Finishes and is typically installed immediately after the coating machine and before the UV dryer.
Eliminate Surface Defects: This Paint Leveling IR Dryer is crucial for preventing bubbles, pinholes, and orange peel, ensuring a mirror-smooth high-gloss finish. Additionally, it can function as a Pre-heating IR Dryer to warm up substrates before coating, significantly improving paint adhesion.

Hot Air dries the “skin” of the paint first, which can trap bubbles inside. IR heats from the inside, pushing bubbles out. For the best result, we often combine them (Hot Air Jet + IR Tunnel).
